Meet Guida and Gilda, two women whom are both widowed and both sisters, and live in a small village in one of the poorest countries in the world- Mozambique, Africa.

Guida and Gilda are hardworking and kind- often referred as the “mothers” of their village as they give even the little they have to others in need.

Guida has 7 biological children and has adopted 4 orphans, but sadly one of her children has passed away due to malnutrition.

Gilda has 5 biological children including twins.

Both Gilda and Guida lost their husbands within this past year due to sickness/disease.

This year they attempted starting their own business together selling produce out of their homes to sustain themselves, but due to COVID-19 their business has failed.

We have a goal to raise $6,000 to provide enough money for Guida and Gilda to collectively feed their 15 children and themselves for one year, so that they can focus their efforts towards reviving their business! (This is the amount that has been calculated for how much it would cost to feed 17 people for one year in Mozambique).

However, any extra money raised beyond this amount will go to their other needs such as clothing, personal hygiene items, seeds and soil for their gardening business, etc. 

100% of ALL donations made to this campaign will be distributed directly to Guida and Gilda by their biological brother Luis Belchior and biological sister Amelia Kabwika, whom are both currently residing in the United States and managing this campaign with their family.

Together we can give, and together, a little will go a long way!
