<div>My name is Pritt Kalsi and I am an independent film maker and artist. I have been documenting artists and pioneers of their craft for close to 30 years.

<div>Since i was a teenager I was always fascinated by people with limited resources or tools that were able to make the most of what they have and create things that were innovative and ground-breaking.

<div>I love to dig deep into the lives of those that not only influenced me but inspired generations.  
</div>

<div>Since graduating back in 1995, I received many rejections from the established creative industry. I believed in myself and my ideas an i continue that that belief to become an artist . 
</div>

<div>I was not deterred or put off by those industry insiders and the rejection. Instead like many of my heroes I found other ways to pursue a creative outlet, I undertook the self funded route, financed by working in a factory to fund my projects.  
</div>

<div>Over the years I have won awards for film making, photography art and music production.  
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I have helped and supported many artists on their journey creating work, many times for free to help them.  
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Unfortunately, over time my computers have burnt out and I have not been in a position  financially be able to replace them.  
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Recently I went for an  artist development grant via a very well know arts funding organisation but was refused.  
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I have built a great network of artists internationally and often get asked what happened to my film.  
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I have held on to it preciously knowing its not complete.  
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For the last 2.5 years I have been working in education as support staff, running a library and helping kids develop their reading and confidence skills.  
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Unfortunately, the salary is not the best. If you work in the industry you will know.  
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For that period, I have also been building a case to get my wife into the UK myself as I could not afford a solicitor. 
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My aim here is to raise the funds to invest in a machine that will not just allow me to complete my film but also give me the power to continue creating content and film.  
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Money raised will go towards a Mac Mini pro 1TB 65GB Ram and monitor. Secondly to set up an ai account to create vintage stock scenes to cut out the costs from all these media outlets who are holding Indipendent film makers to ransom.  
</div>
