Mission Trip To Jamaica (Spicy Grove Youth Center)

I have never created a fundraising or GoFundMe campaign before in my life, but I genuinely believe in the capacity for generosity and support from others and decided to prayerfully give it a try. For those of you who know me, I have always had a passion to serve on a Mission’s Team, and with my health obstacles the past 6+ years I never thought it would be possible and would stay just a dream buried within my heart. We serve such a mighty God, and I have miraculously been in Lupus remission since January. An opportunity has come up to humbly serve on a Mission’s Team, and he is leading me to step out on faith and be a part of this trip. I will Lord willing be traveling with a small independent team to the Spicy Grove Youth Center in Oracabessa St. Mary, Jamaica.
I know the Founder and President Rev. Danny Myers from years ago attending church with him. I support this non-profit organization and know the genuineness and authenticity of this beautiful ministry. Their mission is to help bring hope to the youth, children and their families in Jamaica and the ministry Danny and his wife Grace have developed and poured their lives into have done just that. There is such HOPE in Christ, may we all share it with others more.

Date of Mission Trip:
Our team members will be traveling to and ministering in Jamaica February 15th – 22nd, 2020. For those who can’t make this trip, there is a place for you on the team because it also takes prayer warriors and financial support. Please prayerfully consider joining our support team by praying for the ministry team and by helping us raise funds. As you pray, please remember the leaders of the Youth Center, Danny and Grace Myers, all the people of Jamaica, safe travels, the ministry team, and for God to work through this trip in amazing, miraculous ways like only he can do.
Purpose Of Mission Trip:
The purpose of this trip will be to bring the HOPE of Jesus to the students and teachers in the public school system, to those who join us for Vacation Bible Club, to the shut-ins that we visit, to the youth in Oracabessa, and to the people in the community.

To create a center, fully equipped to accommodate programs designed to guide children, youth, and their families to a transformed life through spiritual, moral, emotional, social, mental, and physical development.
