UoG Economists Against Malaria

Tax deductible
We are 'Development Economics' and 'Behavioural Economics' Master's students at the University of Glasgow who wish to do a small part in making the world better. Our goal is to raise at least £2,000.00 for the Against Malaria Foundation, a top-rated charity protecting people globally. All students, staff, lecturers, and friends of the University are invited to donate to this page.

The AMF estimates that the cost to purchase and distribute one net is approximately £4.00. Before you donate, think, 'How many nets would I like to send?' Reaching our goal will mean 500+ nets for malaria-endemic communities.

About the charity: The AMF funds anti-malaria nets, specifically long-lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs), and works with distribution partners to ensure they are used. The AMF also tracks and reports on net use and malaria case data. It is a Top Ten GiveWell charity. More can be read at: https://www.againstmalaria.com/

Every donation goes directly to the AMF. Thank you in advance for your contribution.

Here we are shadow-boxing at our beautiful Glasgow University campus. Help us fight malaria with nets.
