Jeremy Bradford is an accomplished and dedicated ultra-distance runner living in Denver, CO. Since he started running in 2009, and with the untiring support of his family, Jeremy has continuously pushed his limits by participating in dozens of ultra-distance events, winning 12 100-mile events, and placing well at many more. Encouraged by his unexpected success and newly discovered passion, he's always looking for the next great challenge.
On April 18, 2016, with the cooperation of his employer, HomeAdvisor, Jeremy will set out on his longest and most ambitious run yet. Supported by his family and friends, he will attempt a coast-to-coast run from the Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles to the steps of City Hall in New York City in an effort to help support Children's Hospital Colorado. Inspired by other athletes that have accomplished amazing feats of endurance in the name of charity, such as the well-known Canadian hero, Terry Fox, Jeremy has long dreamed of undertaking a charitable transcontinental run of his own.
Jeremy is choosing to raise funds for the cleft palate clinic at the Colorado Children’s Hospital because 10 years ago, Jeremy’s daughter, Maya was born with a condition known as Pierre Robin Sequence, which resulted in a cleft palate and a small lower jaw. The condition caused feeding, breathing, and growth issues that were overcome largely due to the cleft team at Children’s Hospital. Although the majority of the funds raised during his run will go directly to the hospital, there are other expenses that Jeremy will have to pay for on his own such as meals, lodging, gas, safety equipment, and other travel expenses for himself and his crew. Jeremy and his family are deeply appreciative of any donations that help him accomplish this trans-continental run while raising money for a worthy organization.

Any funds raised on this gofundme page will be used for travel, meals, fuel for the crew vehicles, lodging and other logistical aspects of the trip. Any funds remaining at the end of the expedition will be donated to the Children's Hospital Colorado.
