hi friends of francis,
francis has been in the hospital since being hit by the Q train on dec. 15. he has made significant improvement as of jan 7 when he was moved out of ICU to acute rehab. he is now breathing on his own. yesterday he ate and walked for the first time since the incident. with this great news comes the realization that someday he will actually be able to leave the hospital. he has no savings and will not be able to work for the foreseeable future. if you would like to donate to help with basic living expenses, please do.
he can't speak yet, and he doesn't know about this gofundme thing, but i have a stack of gorgeous paintings he made on index cards that i would be able to give to any of you.
