Roscoe's Medical Fund!
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Julia and I am a member of ChainFree Knoxville, a nonprofit dedicated to building fences for chained or tethered dogs. Last week, we approached an owner about building a fencing enclosure for his tethered dog. The owner asked if we could help find him a new home instead- we said yes! We found a wonderful foster and had him vetted, only to discover Roscoe is heartworm positive :(. Heartworms are spread via infected mosquito bites that result in severe health complications and can cause death.
Roscoe is seriously the SWEETEST BOY. Anyone who chooses to adopt him is going to be the lucky one. He is three years old and has lived a majority (if not all) of his life on a tether. We owe it to Roscoe to give him the best start at his new life with the medical care he deserves to live a long, happy life off the chain.
I'm writing to you as an individual asking for the help of our community, as medical bills for the animals we help falls out of CFK's scope. Please consider making a financial contribution to Roscoe's care or sharing his story! If the amount donated exceeds his medical expenses, the remainder of the funds will be used for his care with his foster mommy (food, etc.). If there is excess money beyond Roscoe's needs, it will be donated to ChainFree Knoxville.
