Recovering from a stroke is not easy, but The Unsinkable Mama Hirsch has been working hard to get her strength back! Papa Hirsch is with her every day helping her with those efforts and offering cheerful, loving care. Mama is able to speak and even sing a little when she has the energy! She continues to stretch for more mobility and still finds ways to express the warm, sassy, adorable, sugar-pie personality we all love.
This sweet couple is almost ready for the long journey from Colorado Springs, Colorado to their new home in Corsicana, Texas. They found a lovely house that only needs a few modifications to accommodate Mama’s needs. Insurance will cover some of the cost of these expenses, but these two lovebirds could use a bit of financial help to get what they need. The goal of $5000 will help to cover the cost of professional movers, home modifications, and medical equipment such as a wheelchair, chair lift, bariatric bed, etc.
