Who we are:
Unsinkable is a non-profit organization founded by 4-time Olympian Silken Laumann. We educate, empower, and connect people when they need it most. We believe in the power of storytelling. Through sharing our lived experiences we are able to build trust, open perspectives, cultivate norms, share knowledge, facilitate unlearning/break stigmas and build emotional connections. We all have our own voice and Unsinkable encourages you, to use yours. Together we are UNSINKABLE.
Where is my money going?
It is important to us that you know exactly where your donation will be going. Through your support, we are able to fund our mission. Unsinkable tackles a hands-on approach with its Community Support Programs. Delivering community events, after-school programs, support groups, and resources to youth and adults across North America. This funding allows for us to grow these programs and reach more communities, leaving a lasting impact on their mental health and wellness.
We are in a mental health crisis and we need your help. As simple as buying a morning coffee, your support can make a difference.
