<div>In 2016, in partnership with Indigenous Elders, knowledge holders, and friends, I embarked on an intricate learning journey to find out what might happen if settlers such as myself began to do what Elders such as Grandfather William Commanda-ba have been telling us: "Remember our Original Instructions".

I am humbled and profoundly grateful to everyone who has so enthusiastically encouraged me to turn this writing into a book for wider audiences. Now we are in the process of evolving these interwoven stories of relational trauma recovery, buried cultural memory, and critical spirituality into an accessibly written book so that more people can engage in this important conversation.
