Hi! We are the Hand Me Down Productions Team and in April we are going to be shooting our very first short film called ‘Unsaid’.

About the Company

As three good friends from drama school, we - Liz Puddick, Hannah Berchtold and Harry Simkins - have been super determined not to wait until the industry comes to us but instead to make things happen for ourselves. And so Hand Me Down Productions came to life, and we started writing! We set out from the very beginning to focus on simple, human stories in which we strip everything back and tell the raw truth. Now 6 months down the road, we have finished our first script, called in favours from our extremely talented friends, cast our film and are ready to shoot, all that we have left to find is funding - that’s where you could help!

About the film

‘Unsaid’ centres around Stephie and Alex, exes seeing each other for the first time since parting ways, surrounded by their small town friend group. With so much tension between them, perhaps it’s best to just say nothing at all.

The story analyses the truth in how we navigate situations where we can feel the weight of the history with a person under the surface, and what we might want to say as humans vs the reality of what we really do end up saying in those situations.
