After another normal night of fun and laughter, movies and more. Pete was rushed to the hospital the next morning. No one saw it coming. The news hit everyone like a truck. Pete is now facing kidney failure, on permanent dialysis, and a surgery of many months of recovery. He will need to undergo many treatments to cure the infection along with another sugery to follow. Leaving his family and friends in constant worry.
Pete is an amazing man, with many thriving passions, devotion and love. He is the true definition of a fighting chance. He was injured in 2002, which left him paralyzed. But this man found ways to overcome all his obstacles and keep pushing. With new hopes and dreams he picked up hobbies that kept him busy. Picking up a Hot dog truck, owning his own business, and making ways to get his boat. Being devoted to recovering and keeping himself happy. He also had his beautiful daughter and amazing family to be with. His daughter Heather is the apple of his eye, doing everything he can to make her smile. But now, it’s time for his daughter to make her father smile. The bond these two share is beyond inspiring and something irreplaceable.
Heather works a full-time job, taking every second of her off time being by her fathers’ side. Not only does she tend to her father, but she’s trying her hardest to make sure her father comes home to a comfortable and amazing environment.
Taking all the stress away, she has taken over all the bills from her father so he can focus on his recovery. However, the costs are too overwhelming for Heather to take on herself. We ask you for any donation possible to help a fraction of these costs for these treatments and bills. Anything will be overly appreciated.
