We are a student-led soccer club at the University of New Mexico. UNM Women’s Club Soccer offers students the opportunity to play competitive, collegiate soccer. The club competes in a regional conference against other university soccer clubs. Teams compete to qualify for the regional tournament, where we compete for a spot in the national tournament. Players are able to represent the school and travel within the region for tournaments and matches while also competing on home turf. The club welcomes student athletes from diverse backgrounds in both the undergraduate and graduate level. At UNM Women’s soccer club, we are playing the sport we love and building a strong community and friendships that last throughout our academic careers.
As a student led organization, we don’t receive university funding. This means we rely entirely on fundraising and community support. This is what allows us to play a full season and compete in and out of state, while keeping player dues down so all students can afford to play. Any support, big or small is greatly appreciated. Check out the video above to see what we were able to accomplish thanks to your support!
