</div>
<div>The Payroll Giving Scheme is being established to make giving through pay simpler, more visible and more practical for employers of every size.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’re raising £5,000 to set up the future of Payroll Giving.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This fundraise will help us establish the organisation properly, complete the work required for charity registration and build the foundations of a modern Payroll Giving service.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Our mission: £1m more for charity</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Payroll Giving allows people to donate directly from their salary before income tax is deducted.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For a higher-rate taxpayer, a £10 donation through Payroll Giving can reduce take-home pay by £6. The same £6 donated after tax becomes £7.50 with Gift Aid.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That means the same impact on the donor’s pay can result in 33% more reaching charity, without requiring a Gift Aid declaration or tax return.*
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But Payroll Giving remains difficult to find, poorly explained and largely designed around bigger employers.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We want to change that.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>What we’re building</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The Payroll Giving Scheme will provide:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>A straightforward way for employers to introduce Payroll Giving.
</li>
<li>Simple, guided onboarding designed around smaller employers.
</li>
<li>A clearer and more engaging employee experience.
</li>
<li>Better charity discovery and impact updates.
</li>
<li>Technology and processes that make the scheme easier to administer.
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our goal is not simply to move existing donations from one method to another. It is to generate giving that would not otherwise exist and unlock an initial £1 million in additional charitable donations.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>What the first £5,000 will fund</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your contribution will help us:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Complete our registration and governance work.
</li>
<li>Establish the required financial, compliance and operational controls.
</li>
<li>Put the necessary banking arrangements in place.
</li>
<li>Build the first version of our website, technology and employer onboarding tools.
</li>
<li>Prepare for the approvals required to operate as a Payroll Giving Agency.
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The £5,000 will remain ring-fenced while our registration is considered. If we do not secure charitable status and the approvals required to operate as a Payroll Giving Agency, contributions will be returned.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Become a founding supporter</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The people and organisations contributing now are supporting the scheme before registration, before launch and before the first donation has been processed.

<div><strong>Help us take the first step</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you believe giving should be simpler, Payroll Giving should be available to more people and charities should receive more from every contribution, please consider supporting our launch.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every contribution brings us closer to registration, launch and our first £1 million in additional charitable giving.
