Mobile Community Cares Outreach

Unity of Life is a 501(c)3 public non-profit organization founded in 2007 to prevent homelessness in the community. Our programs include the Toiletry Care Package, Utility Assistance, Rental/Mortgage Assistance and referral assistance. These programs assist low to moderate income individuals and families in California.  Our programs and assistance is only accessible online and by phone. Not everyone has access to a computer or internet, so we are not able to reach a certain demographic that may truly need our services. In-person assistance is necessary when providing qualified clients with preprinted checks for utility, rent/mortgage payments and case management. The Mobile Community Outreach Van will provide internet access, in-person client assistance, volunteer work-space and storage for our toiletries.  This van will also allow us to be in the community on a more consistent basis and the ability to go where we are needed throughout California. We need the community's help to reach our goal of $75,000; which will go toward purchasing a cargo van, converting it into work-space and wrapping the inside/outside of the vehicle with our logo and the logos and/or names of our contributors to this campaign.
