<div>Stand Up to Racism has led opposition to the far right by organising protests and promoting unity. In Scotland, we have been involved in opposing the far-right in cities and towns, most recently in Glasgow where we decisevely thwarted the the Scottish far-right's attempts to regroup.

<div><strong>We are not complacent and we think there is a lot of work to do. </strong>To do this, we need to increase our funds - organising travel to events, for example, is extremely expensive, and producing anti-racist materials that can be used in workplaces, education centres and communities across Scotland also costs money.

<div>- take swift solidarity action if <strong>Donald Trump </strong>wins the US presidential election in November

<div>- spread the word for the trade union-led <strong>St Andrews Day Anti-Racism march and rally</strong> in late November

<div>- help organise <strong>anti-racist gigs </strong>in cities and towns targeted by the far-right and a <strong>major cultural event </strong>next year
