<div><strong>The far-right riots and Islamophobic violence in August must be a wake-up call </strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Stand Up to Racism has led opposition to the far right by organising protests and promoting unity. In Scotland, we have been involved in opposing the far-right in cities and towns, most recently in Glasgow where we decisevely thwarted the the Scottish far-right's attempts to regroup.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>We are not complacent and we think there is a lot of work to do. </strong>To do this, we need to increase our funds - organising travel to events, for example, is extremely expensive, and producing anti-racist materials that can be used in workplaces, education centres and communities across Scotland also costs money.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>You can support our work in may ways, but an important one is <strong>by donating generously to our funds today</strong>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>These are some of the things your donations can help us achieve in the months ahead:</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- enable large numbers of Scottish anti-fascists to travel to the <strong>national demonstration against 'Tommy Robinson' in London</strong> on 26th October
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- mobilise anti-racists in support of <strong>the family of Sheku Bayoh, 'Scotland's George Floyd'</strong>, as the public inquiry into his death in police custody draws to an end
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- take swift solidarity action if <strong>Donald Trump </strong>wins the US presidential election in November
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- spread the word for the trade union-led <strong>St Andrews Day Anti-Racism march and rally</strong> in late November
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- help organise <strong>anti-racist gigs </strong>in cities and towns targeted by the far-right and a <strong>major cultural event </strong>next year
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To make all of this possible, please consider donating today. Thanks from everybody at SUTR Scotland.
