Hi everyone,

A group of cheerleading athletes aged between 9-12 years old surpassed hundreds of other talented athletes to become one of only 16 cheerleaders selected for a team to compete in Orlando Florida in May 2025. Lime will compete as an Under 12 Level 2 team and are currently ranked National Champions in their division.

Cheerleading is a sport that has grown exponentially in the past ten years with over 1500 registered programmes in the UK. Cheerleading is now a provisional Olympic sport, recognised by the IOC, and Sport Cheer England (the National Governing Body) is soon to be granted sport recognition by Sport England. Unity pride themselves on working with young people who work hard to develop themselves both within school/ college or the work place, as well being exceptional sports.

However this travel experience comes a cost and we would love to send them off looking and feeling like the International champions they are. The items that we would love to raise funds for are additional uniform items along with some travel necessities such as Lime team jackets, competition socks, water bottles and many more useful items for their trip.

This is working out to be a considerable amount so we are asking for your help.

Any donation big or small would go a long way and mean the world to our athletes. We estimate approximately between £100 - £150 per athlete.

We are reaching out to anyone who can make any donations, regardless of the amount, to kick-start the fundraising. Any help is greatly appreciated and could help reduce the cost per athlete. In the past, we had parents who were happy to make a small donation and offset it against their company tax.
