Our sweet and caring Friend, David "DD" Rivera has been battling Brain Cancer for two years now. A battle that no one is ever prepared for and a battle that is fought along loved ones and friends. David and his Family would like to thank everyone for their outpouring love and support during these difficult times. They ask for your continued prayers in hope for a miracle and complete healing for DD.
These past two years have been full of hospital stays, traveling to Houston, scans, countless chemotherapy sessions, radiation, prayers, hope and tears. Throughout this time, David has kept strong and his Family has been inspired by DD's strength and have learned to do so as well. They have faith that David will be triumphant and all those who love him, do too!
This past week has been a little harder on David, as he had been feeling very sick, nauseated and weak. His Family took him to Methodist Children's Hospital in San Antonio, Texas hoping they could help DD feel better. Lab work came back good and he was administered an IV for the loss of fluids that he had had. His Family drove him back home and two hours after arrival he encountered a series of seizures. David was intubated as he can not breathe on his own and they are now traveling to Houston for him to get treated over there.
At this time, we ask for your support in sharing this Go Fund Me account and/or donating if you find it in your heart to do so. These funds will help alleviate the expenses that come with travel and his medical bills.
