<div>A child should never have to wonder where they will sleep tonight.

<div>On October 9, a magnitude 7.5 earthquake struck Panama’s rural heartland. In Veraguas, Los Santos, Herrera and Coclé, homes are damaged, water and power are cut, and landslides have left some communities isolated. According to UNICEF, about 38,000 people, including 8,300 children, need humanitarian help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Many of these families were already living with very little. Now some are sleeping in public spaces, and every aftershock brings new fear.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are the Carvalho Family Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Mineola, New York. Together with José “Chema” Caballero of the New York Yankees and his family, we launched United for Panama. Our team is in Panama right now, going to the hardest-hit communities and handing out supplies in person.

<div>Your donation helps fund:
</div>
<div>• Food, clean water, baby formula and diapers
</div>
<div>• Hygiene, first-aid and basic medical supplies
</div>
<div>• Blankets, sleeping mats and bedding
</div>
<div>• Buying, shipping and delivering relief supplies
</div>
<div>• Shelter and recovery support for families who lost their homes
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A meal helps today. But families also need a safe place to sleep, and we want to help them rebuild.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For those of us who call Panama home, this is personal. These are the towns where our parents grew up and where families have always opened their doors to others. Today, many of them can’t safely walk through their own.

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Tu donación ayuda a cubrir:
</div>
<div>• Comida, agua potable, fórmula para bebés y pañales
</div>
<div>• Artículos de higiene, primeros auxilios y suministros médicos básicos
</div>
<div>• Frazadas, colchonetas y ropa de cama
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Una comida ayuda hoy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
