United Education's 100 miles for Mind

Hello!  We are the United Education team, this October we are all getting involved in Mind's challenge to walk 100 miles in a month. We will be using this page to document our experiences throughout the challenge and hopefully raise some money for a brilliant charity. 


As a company we are passionate advocates about the mental health benefits of getting outdoors and engaging in physical activity.  We encourage this through a portfolio of exciting brands, each of which specialises in experimental learning for the next generation, spanning outdoor education, international schools, leadership courses and  summer camps. Every aspect of our work is focused on empowering the future generation but in order to do this we have to practice what we preach and be role models. 

 

This challenge is in aid of Mind (NAMH) a mental health charity based in UK. Their aim is to ensure that anyone with a mental health problem has somewhere to turn for advice and support. They do this by providing information on different types of mental health problems, advice on how to help yourself and someone else, signposting to helplines and services and also through an online community.

After the last 18 months charities like Mind have been in more demand than ever and their continued efforts to help have taken pressure off of the NHS staff.  Any donations that you are able to make would be massively appreciated.
