Its with great sorrow that we have lost a true man of honor who served his country. Joey loved to game and make people laugh. Although he suffered from chronic asthma he enjoyed life and was the life of the party. He was a father of his oldest boy 11, middle boy 6 and daughter 5. He adored his mother who lost her fight to cancer in July 2017 and he loved his friends and family. A lot of people have reached out asking where to donate so we setup this GoFund me to support college funds for his children and for his wish to turn his ashes into a tree. We thank you for all the love you have shown Joey at this time.

One never knows,
When its your time to go,
Life is full of many components,
All we really have is this present moment,
I grew up the youngest of 2 sisters and 3 brothers,
When you see my face its my mothers,
Being the youngest definitely had its benefits,
My brothers and sisters become irrelevant, :)
Although I struggled, I was the class fool,
but managed to graduate from high school,
I contemplated my career,
I wanted to do something that required no fear,
I thought about this country and the freedom it deserves,
That's when I made the decision to serve,
Not really understanding the plan,
I fought for our country in Afghanistan,
Although I was proud to serve,
The combat affected my nerves,
I experienced things in my mind like a camera,
It resulted to many conditions one of which chronic asthma,
With the army stripes proudly worn,
I received a gift my first born,
While experiencing all this mind of war,
My baby mama  holding down the floor,
Eventually I succumbed to my health conditions,
I ended up with a medically discharged submission,
My baby mama better off as friends,
We made a promise to care for our boy until the end,
As I continued a chapter of new,
I met baby mama number two,
She provided dedication,
She made sure I had my asthma medication,
Then out of the blue,
Here comes baby boy number two,
But we aren't done there just yet,
We have one more on set,
Its a baby girl,
Fresh out the wound without a single curl,
I wasn't the best in my relationships,
and so once again we decided on friendship,
I never really cared to do the math,
but I always wanted to make everyone laugh,
I also didn't care to do what everyone else did,
but I have always loved my kids,
Love for my best friend Bronx my pet,
Love for my fellow brother army vets,
Love to go broke for gifts and things,
Love for my siblings,
Sorry for my flaws,
Love for my brother and sister in law,
Sorry for whatever drama,
Love for my baby mamas,
To my oldest don't be mad,
Just remember the good times we had,
To my middle, it may feel like a while,
Just continue to light it up with that smile,
To my princess, I'm sorry I had to go on your birthday,
Please don't celebrate as if its your worse day,
To my friends who were like no other,
Love to you my brothers,
To my cousins, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, happily,
Love to my family,
To all that knew me,
Live, love, laugh my only plea,
I am survivor of war outside this land,
I never knew it would end in that very land I stand,

I'm in a better place now an inner knowing,

Sincerely yours,
