The project is a collective effort of a group of performing arts students from all over Taiwan who care about cultural, ethnic, and educational equity. We hope you can join us to combat educational inequity. All proceeds will go to the non-profit organization “Teach for Taiwan (TFT)” (https://www.teach4taiwan.org).
這是由一群來自台灣各地關心文化、種族及教育平等的學生表演藝術者所共同完成的募款影片，期盼您能一起參與，為台灣教育平等而努力。所有款項將捐給公益組織“為台灣而教(Teach for Taiwan, TFT)” (https://www.teach4taiwan.org)。
Cultural diversity should be celebrated but has instead been clouded by obvious inequalities stemming from differing environments and resource availability, especially in the education system. However, in such diversity, we must find unity. We hope to support Teach for Taiwan (TFT) to reach the goal of educational equity.
我們尊重，包容且鼓勵多元化，但不希望因為不同而產生歧視或不平等．由於人種，人民居住地，以及文化上面的不同而導致資源分配的不平等，尤其是教育資源分配不平均所造成的影響是最深遠。因此希望用這影片來支持TFT，達到教育平權的目的。
Currently, about 1100 schools in Taiwan are ruled as "rural schools" and areas of need. Teach for Taiwan has a goal of creating equal educational opportunities for all children in Taiwan and to cultivate outstanding teachers and leaders to work with these high-demand areas for a high-quality educational environment. For the past 8 years since it was founded, TFT has successfully served 5000+ students and cooperated with 68 schools. However, even with the incredible efforts TFT has devoted to the cause, there are still countless schools that need teachers and resources. Still, TFT's income comes purely from donations, which is where the "Unite the Diverse" project hopes to jump in.
目前，台灣大概有1100所學校被定為“偏鄉學校”。TFT旨在為台灣所有兒童創造平等的教育機會，並培養優秀的教師和領導者與這些高需求地區協力創造優質的教育環境。成立八年來，TFT已成功服務了5000多名學生，並與68所學校合作。即使TFT做出了巨大的努力，仍然有很多學校急需穩定和優良的師資。而TFT的收入完全來自捐款，這也就是“藝同”希望能幫助的地方。
All funds raised will be donated to TFT to train more outstanding teachers. In addition, cooperating with TFT, we will develop performing arts teaching resources to provide rural children with opportunities to appreciate and learn performing arts. Only by reducing the problem of educational inequality can we build a more inclusive, diverse, and harmonious society.
所募得款項將捐贈TFT培養更多優秀的教師，支援更多偏鄉學校。另外，後續將研發表演藝術教學資源, 與TFT 合作，提供偏鄉學童欣賞和學習表演藝術的機會。唯有減少教育不平等的問題，我們才能建構一個更包容、更多元和更和諧的社會。
The film has been selected as the winner of the Young Women’s Fund Award, presented by United Nations NGO Pan Pacific and Southeast Asia Women’s Association (PPSEAWA), and has been sponsored by both PPSEAWA International and PPSEAWA Taiwan.
此影片已獲聯合國泛太平洋東南亞婦女協會(PPSEAWA) 頒發的Young Women’s Fund Award 獎項。由PPSEAWA International 和PPSEAWA Taiwan 贊助。
