Papa Wolfe’s™ Stage Door Smokehouse needs your help now to open next week (Targeting 4/11).
Thanks to you we were able to raise $4000 by November 2017 and with a little help from our friends and family we- have completed all the work, have all the equipment needed, and have all of the permits we need to open. What we need now is at least $2000 to make our inititial food & beverage order and have money to pay employees for the first week or two.
Papa Wolfe's Stage Door Smokehouse is a Chef/Owner operated family friendly restaurant and small live performance venue and Bar. We are bringing living wage jobs and a wonderful gathering place for our community to share great food & excellent entertainment where local artists can also hone their craft.
Papa Wolfe’s previously raised $4,000 to finish the renovation of our pre-1909 building in order to meet Grays Harbor County and Oakville- Septic, Food & Beverage, and Occupancy code requirements which we have now accomplished and can open.
The owner of Papa Wolfe’s has already invested $450,000.00- has finished 100% the renovation, and owns- the building, land, commercial kitchen equipment, and restaurant front & back of house equipment (with the exception of refrigeration which we are scheduled to lease to own). We need your help to make the intitial food & beverage order and payroll to get us up and running.

Our restaurant serves our famous marinated, dry-rubbed, low & slow smoked: pork ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket, corned-beef, pastrami, and wings. Of course we make our own Mild, Medium, & Hot BBQ sauces, and all the Bar-B-Que sides any respectable Bar-B-Queue joint should offer. Besides the New York style Delicatessen offerings and southern favorites, the Chef also offers seasonal Gourmet specials at family prices. The Chef's goal is to make this your favorite place so please let the staff know about your must-have dishes, as well as, the kind of entertainment and comedy you'd like. Papa Wolfe's™ uses the best marinade, dry rub, smoking, & sauce methods from South Carolina, Memphis, South Texas, & Kansas City and everything is cooked in house using our own recipes. It's important to know that a smokehouse does not grill (high temperature over direct heat in minutes) or Bar-B-Que (medium temperature over direct heat w/smoke within an hour or so). Instead we use medium-low temperature indirect heat from smoke (hickory and mesquite) to cook our food Low & Slow for many hours. We give thanks to our First Nation people for this process!
