Uninsured fire recovery

As you may or may not know, Erin Laney (Happy O'Brien) , Vestavia High School Class of 1987, had an electrical fire on October 15th, 2020. Her attempts to put out the fire were not successful enough to save all that she owned but she was able to contain the fire her room only. Fortunately, she is physically okay but it has had a profound effect on her emotional and financial state. Erin is a hard working painter with her own business. This fire has diminished her ability to work and provide an income for herself as she has lost necessities to work such as clothing, her computer, tools of her trade, etc. The homeowner, Wally Wailes had insurance. However, nothing she owned is covered under his insurance. She is need of everything that most everyone takes for granted on a daily basis....food, clothing, furniture, business/electronic equipment, personal items, and all her memorabilia that she cherished and carried with her everywhere she's lived. Erin is one of the sweetest and most caring and giving people I have known in a very long time. Erin helped me when I was still in shock over my own house fire and had lost everything. At least, we had insurance to cover our contents.  She helps everyone else and right now she needs us. Please find it in your heart to help any way possible. I didn't know until yesterday that she is in a state of total loss without any insurance coverage, place to live, nor jobs to work at this incredibly difficult time in her life. Look around your home and think of your life. What if you lost it all in hours. Help this wonderful person get back her feet with a monetary donation or even painting jobs like rooms in your home, furniture, etc. Keeping her busy right now would emotionally help her tremendously.
