Uninsured black nonbinary breast reduction surgery

Ariana is a black, uninsured, non-binary sweetheart in need of breast reduction surgery. Not only would this surgery be extremely gender affirming for them, but will cure the chronic back pain they have been  experiencing which will only continue to worsen with time. Chronic back pain due to large breasts can be extremely debilitating, can cause nerve damage and spinal deformity, on top of limiting movement and just causing perpetual discomfort.


Ariana is the child of 2 African immigrants and spent their childhood growing up between Atlanta and Ethiopia. They are a full time biology senior at UGA and a musician involved in ATL’s community- with high aspiration in these realms. Supporting them in this concrete and direct way by donating to their health and future is supporting and investing in a queer black future for our wonderful beautiful friend so they can finally feel comfortable in their skin.


The goal is high so please donate and please share for our uninsured friend (though even for Insured folks this surgery is often not covered by most insurances due to it being deemed “cosmetic”- though there is scientific proven correlation between breasts and chronic back pain)
