Uniforms for H.O.P.E.

Support the young scholars of H.O.P.E. Community Academy as they prepare for their upcoming school year! We are hosting a uniform drive on July 7th at our school campus, and we welcome those unable to participate in our in-person drive to support them financially. All of the donated funds will go towards providing uniforms to students in need.

 

H.O.P.E. Community Academy is the first charter school focusing on Hmong culture and language in the country. It is located on the Eastside of St. Paul and opened its doors in 2000. Unlike most charter schools in Minnesota, whose lifespan doesn’t extend past 5 years, H.O.P.E. has continued to expand and by the 2024-2025 school year, H.O.P.E. will serve PreK-12 students and families.

 

Each year, the H.O.P.E. Community Academy student body continues to grow, and we are currently only able to provide one uniform to each student at the start of the school year. Between 85-90% of the student body qualifies for free or reduced lunch, and many families that H.O.P.E. serves are low-income. Buying multiple uniforms for the school year is a current barrier for many families. Any amount donated gets us closer to meeting the uniform needs of our student body!
