Acudimos a su buena voluntad y a la generosidad de quienes nos puedan ayudar a sumar para salir adelante agarrados de la mano de Dios y la Virgen para seguir disfrutándo de nuestra querida abuela ROSALBINA MERCHAN. siempre nos ha demostrando su espíritu valiente, alegre y su deseo de Vivir a sus 84 años. Siendo una esposa, madre, una abuela y bisabuela ejemplar.

Esta  hospitalizada desde el pasado 3 de noviembre en la Policlínica Tachira de San Cristóbal, Venezuela  ingresando originalmente con una complicación respiratoria infecciosa y una arritmia cardiaca, lo que le produjo una serie de severas complicaciones.

Desde el viernes 8 de noviembre fue ingresada a la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivo con un derrame pleural, neumonía, complicación cardiaca y sus riñones trabajando forzados, amerito ser entubada con respirador mecánico y bajo efectos de sedación pues sus condiciones son altamente delicadas.

Ya tiene 13 días hospitalizada y sus gastos médicos y hospitalarios han sido muy altos y como es sabido en Venezuela los seguros no alcanzan para cubrir casos como este  y diariamente los costos  de UCI sobrepasan los 1000$ y las sumas acumuladas son muy elevadas.

We turn to the good faith and generosity of those who can help us move forward in the hands of God and the Virgen Mary to keep enjoying our beloved grandmother ROSALBINA MERCHAN. She has always demonstrated a brave and joyful spirit, and the willingness to LIVE until her 84th birthday. Always being an exemplary wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She has been hospitalized since November 3rd in the Policlínica Tachira in San Cristóbal, Venezuela initially with an infectious respiratory complication and cardiac arrhythmia. This has caused a series of futher and more severe complications.

On November 8th, she was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit with a  pleural effusion, pneumonia, cardiac complications and kidneys working beyond their capacity. This caused for her to be hooked up to a mechanical ventilator and be heavily sedated as her condition turned more and more delicate.

She has now been hospitalized for 13 days and her medical and hospital expenses have been very high. As many know well, in Venezuela medical insurance does not cover cases such as this and the daily ICU costs are above $1,000, adding up to a very high hospital bill.

We turn to you for help in this dire situation. Anything that you can contribute will be of great help.
