Hello! This fundraiser is for the opportunity to go to Panama with the UNH Volunteers Around the World club. This year the club has selected Panama for the Winter 2020 trip. This opportunity enables me to gain experience in the medical field and, most importantly, the chance to volunteer.
With this opportunity, I will be able to volunteer and gain the experience to travel abroad. The trip is 14 days total, which includes two days of training, three days to explore Panama with the group, and six days of medical service.
The primary purpose of this opportunity is to gain knowledge and skill within the medical field. I would also increase my understanding of the culture of those in Panama.
Overall, the fundraising amount of $3,000.00 will cover my plane ticket and expenses for this trip to happen. I am genuinely grateful for helping me gain such an experience of being able to assist others through this volunteer opportunity, and I am thankful for any amount given to assist in paying for this to happen!
