Funds to help cover Pete's medical expenses and to help his wife, Shirley, get back on her feet.
On Monday, Pete was doing what he always did and went to work mowing his customer's lawns. After finishing a lawn, he had walked up some stairs and fell, hitting his head. He loaded up his mowers on his trailer and drove home where he told Shirley he needed to go to the hospital. Upon arrival, they noticed bleeding on the brain and airlifted him to BJC in St.Louis. After arriving at the hospital, Pete took a turn for the worse. He was rushed into surgery where he has not yet waken from. While asleep, tests and scans are showing he has since had a stroke and not enough brain activity to function if he wakes up. As a family, we have decided that on the Lord's Day, the ICU team will administer comfort care, and Grandpa will be called home on on his own time.
Any money raised will be transfered to help pay for all of the medical expenses Shirley will soon be facing. Anything helps and we are beyond apprecative.
