<div>My name is Danielle, myself and several of Stephanie’s classmates from high school are setting up a Go Fund Me account for Stephanie Biscay Steven’s, who lost her King unexpectedly when Chris died in a car accident yesterday evening, 10/23/2021. Stephanie’s daughter, Abby was also in the car. Abby made it out of the vehicle and is currently in the hospital being treated for her injuries. Stephanie and her family were scheduled to move into their new home in Colorado in 4 days. If you know Stephanie and her heroic story, then you know she has been dealing with her own struggles with her health. Chris was literally her everything, her rock, her comfort, her support.  He was also the family’s financial support. As you can only begin to imagine, Stephanie has a lot going on. Stephanie’s family, who are out of state, including her son are trying to get to Colorado to help out. There are a ton of expenses that need to be covered. There is no life insurance policy.

<div>The family is understandably shocked by this loss and unfortunately not prepared for all that is happening at this time. Losing a loved one is always difficult, but coping with a sudden loss adds a different element to the grieving process. It doesn’t follow a pattern and there’s often a lack of closure. There are also added financial stressors, such as the cost of planning a funeral or the loss of a spouse’s income to pay for household expenses.
