UPDATE: As of 6/9 Rubeus is a tripawd dog. He is home now and resting. Test results should come back in about a week and we will find out more about recommended next step then. For now, we snuggle. ♥️

Rubeus is our 2.5-year-old rescue dog, or our “big dog” as the kids like to call him. He is our goodest boy and is always ready for snuggles and slobbery kisses!

We learned in the last two weeks that he has developed a very painful and progressive bone cancer in his right hind leg. We would like to do everything we can to help ease his pain and to work to cure this cancer if we can. We have him scheduled for surgery (about $8,000) and have been advised that chemo will very likely follow surgery (about $5,600).

While we want to do whatever we can for our big guy (and our kiddos who love their “Blueberry”), this is a situation that was very unexpected emotionally and financially. We appreciate any help you can send our way, whether it be monetary or thoughts and prayers. ♥️
