Urgence humanitaire – Une citerne pour Baie d’Orange, Haïti

Une région oubliée perchée sur le plateau des Rochelois. 

Baie d’Orange est l’une des zones les plus vulnérables du Sud-Est d’Haïti. 

Chaque jour, des milliers de personnes parcourent jusqu’à 15 kilomètres à pied à la recherche d’eau. 

Une eau rare, souvent contaminée, à l’origine de nombreuses maladies. 
 
Lors d’une mission humanitaire récente, la présidente de RTA Children s’est rendue à Baie d’Orange. 

Elle y a rencontré M. GÉNEUS Lissage, magistrat local (appelé “Cazec”), qui a lancé un véritable appel à l'aide. 
 
Notre réponse ? 

Une citerne d’eau pluviale 
 
Pour répondre à cette urgence, nous lançons un projet vital : 
 
L️a construction d’une citerne de 75 200 litres capable de capter et stocker l’eau de pluie. 

Installée au cœur de l’école communale, elle bénéficiera à des centaines de familles et d’enfants. 
 
Coût total du projet : 10 000 € 
 
Durée des travaux : 2 mois 
 
Dimensions : 8,5 m x 3,5 m x 3,048 m

RTA Children est une association humanitaire basée à Paris. 

Elle agit en faveur des plus démunis et donne une voix à ceux qu’on n’entend pas. 

L'an passé, elle a co-construit une école à Séguin, une autre région montagneuse, où plus de 200 enfants sont aujourd’hui instruits et nourris. 
 
Grâce au soutien de ses donateurs, RTA Children multiplie les actions solidaires. 

Aujourd’hui, nous avons besoin de vous pour aller encore plus loin.

A forgotten region nestled on the Rochelois Plateau.

Baie d’Orange is one of the most vulnerable areas in southeastern Haiti.

Every day, thousands of people walk up to 15 kilometers in search of water.

Water is scarce, often contaminated, and the cause of many diseases.
 
During a recent humanitarian mission, the president of RTA Children visited Baie d’Orange.

There, she met Mr. GÉNEUS Lissage, the local magistrate (known as the "Cazec"), who made a heartfelt plea for help.
 
Our response?

A Rainwater Tank
 
To address this urgent situation, we are launching a vital project:
 
 The construction of a 75,200-liter rainwater tank, designed to capture and store rainwater.

Installed in the heart of the local school, it will benefit hundreds of families and children.
 
 Total project cost: €10,000

 Construction time: 2 months

 Dimensions: 8.5 m x 3.5 m x 3.048 m
