Undocumented Black & Queer Support Fund

Donation protected
In the age of Trump and the targeting of folks who are undocumented, during a time of vast racial disparities around COVID, rapid unemployment, and rental evictions, and at a critical moment in the movement for Black lives, those who are unemployed, undocumented, LGBT, and Black face the brunt of the State's brutality and organized abandonment. These circumstances create a rich opportunity for everyday people to create alternative systems of care and support through mutual aid projects like this one.

This campaign seeks to keep our people healthy and living in community while resisting the displacement of Black folks experiencing all of these intersections simultaneously--unemployed, undocumented, trans and queer, and Black--by creating a fund for rental assistance, food and basic necessities, and healthcare and other services. Our hope and our goal is to move from crisis support to an unlimited funding and celebration of Black trans and queer love, freedom, and joy.

While there are specific individuals this fund supports we are choosing to keep their names and stories out of public view in order to keep them safe. This is necessary because we know the State will use any and all information to build legal cases against our people--especially those living outside of legal immigration status--and we refuse to give them anything that might complicate future immigration relief or leverage detention and deportation against us. At the same time, we know that names, faces, and personal stories are the critical pieces of information that compel strangers to offer support and this is why we need your help now more than ever.

Please donate today, share this campaign with your friends, and then watch the video below to learn more about the transformative possibilities of mutual aid projects.

The power of the people is stronger than the people in power!

Thank you.
