Hi we are a family of four from Tsawout First Nation and Kluane First Nation. We live in Victoria on my husbands reserve. We have home schooled our daughters in the past, one has graduated (she attented public school in grade 10) and the other went to public school in grade 7 ( she is currently in grade 11).
We are going to learn about how important education is in another Country (Asia), especially when we, in Canada have the freedom to pick our choice of education. Equality is not an option for everyone. We want to grow in our understanding of how education is operated in another Country.
My life was changed when I was 20yrs old when I went to Mexico to help build homes for people who had nothing. The pverty I saw made an impact on me and that's what we want our daughters to see and experience.
We are asking for your support to help us with our fees while we are there.
