Welcome to our GoFundMe page! My name is Elly Hollenhorst. I am a professional dancer and emerging choreographer in the Twin Cities, MN. When We Met Under the Juniper Tree is my first solo venture in creating and professionally presenting a choreographic work. It is an artistic endeavor that remains very personal whilst developing into a celebration of united womanhood through contemporary dance. I am beyond excited to share this exciting project with Minneapolis, MN on August 25th, 2017.
We need your help to bring this project into fruition. Our ticket prices are pay-as-able, making the performance available to all incomes. I am collaborating with professional dance artists, musicians, and other artistic collaborators from the Twin Cities, out of state, and abroad.
It is my mission to see every artist paid. That's where you come in!

ABOUT THE PROJECT
When We Met Under the Juniper Tree is a compilation of women's stories twisting together to explore themes of abrupt change, group dynamics, regeneration, and women's innate connection to the earth. Told through contemporary dance, physically invest in their individual power of personal story.
