My name is Anjali Paul, and I am the co-founder (with Mr. Manoj Sen) and CEO of The Live and Learn Foundation®. The Live and Learn Foundation® is a secular, non-denominational, non-political, non-profit organization: a beacon of hope and transformation in India. Through our vibrant community and cultural centre in a small, remote village in rural Madhya Pradesh, we provide free coaching and free nourishing meals for 50 underprivileged children. We believe in creating happy, healthy, well-educated, accomplished, and well-rounded human beings...who go onto create a better world for themselves and everyone else!

We currently provide free tuition in English, Hindi, Mathematics, General Knowledge, and I.T. skills. For children with learning disabilities, like one remarkable child we work with, we also provide tailored support to help them find their voice and confidence.

This centre has been running for almost 4 years now, and it is delivering excellent results.

However, despite our progress, we face urgent challenges. Our centre needs better facilities, including more computers, books, more teachers and more schoolrooms (many more parents want their children to attend the centre, but we are at maximum capacity, and funding shortages threaten our efforts to grow). Additionally, we need financial support to pay the dedicated teachers and staff who currently work with us, who are the backbone of our mission. Your donation will help us to sustain and expand this life-changing work. Your donation will enable us to continue paying our staff and teachers, to continue running our centre, and to continue providing the children with nourishing food. Your donation will help us to buy more computers and books, buy an inverter to cope with the fluctuating electricity supply to the village, hire more teachers (we want to hire a science teacher and another primary/kindergarten teacher), and improve and expand our learning environment; so that we can help all of the underprivileged children from the village and the surrounding areas.
