<div>For lidt over et halvt års tiden siden arbejdede jeg på en skole lidt uden for Siem Reap, en by i Cambodia.

<div>Skolen, ligesom resten af Cambodia, har været hårdt ramt af konfliken imellem Thailand og Cambodia. Det har betydet at der ikke har været nogen frivillige og meget begrænsede donationer siden da.

<div>Skolen er for børn der ikke har råd til at gå i skole, og for børn der gerne vil lære engelsk, for at kunne give dem selv og deres familier en bedre fremtid. 
</div>
<div>Lige nu har skolen plads til 260 elever, men der er stadig rigtig mange børn i Siem Reap der heller ikke har råd til at gå i skole. Udover ikke at have råd til at gå i skole, så har mange af familierne heller ikke råd til at give deres børn mad hver dag. 
</div>
<div>Lige nu står skolen for at give børnene mad 1 dag om ugen, da der desværre ikke er råd til mere. Kim, som er forstander på skolen giver alt hvad han ejer og har, for at kunne give børnene en bedre fremtid, men da skolen er gratis, så er den totalt afhængig af udefrakommende donationer og frivilligt arbejde.

<div>Jeg appellere derfor til jer, venner og familie, om at give en hjælpende hånd til Kim og hans skole, som er fyldt med fantastiske børn, der er ivrige efter af lære. Alle donationer betyder utroligt meget!

<div>About half a year ago I spent some time <span>working at a school just outside Siem Reap, a city in Cambodia. </span>

<div><span>The school, as well as the rest of Cambodia, has been struggling since the conflict with Thailand and is therefore in desperate need of support to keep it running.</span>

<div>The school is for children who cannot afford to attend school and for those who want to learn English to give themselves and their families a better future. 
</div>
<div>Right now, the school accommodates 260 students, but there are still many children in Siem Reap who cannot afford to go to school.

<div>In addition to not being able to afford school, many of the families also cannot afford to feed their children every day. Currently, the school provides food for the children one day a week, as there is unfortunately no budget for more.

<div>Kim, the head of the school, gives everything he owns to provide the children with a better future. <span>However, since the school is free, it is entirely dependent on outside donations and volunteer work.</span>
