Under one roof

The "under one roof" is a campaign to help keep a family together. I work at a school and see families struggle everyday; however this family in particular has endured their share of struggles and is now facing homelessness which has caused the family to be separated. Headed by a single mother, this family of 5 has been evicted from their home and need a lot of help. The mother recently been hospitalized and this caused a lot of strain on her finances. She has been advocating for herself and the children and has experienced disappointments as she navigates through resources, shelters, non-profits, etc. only to learn that there are no resources available to help her and there are endless waiting lists for shelters. Your donation would help secure an apartment so that the family can once again be united -all under one roof.  This is a family who is active, involved and engaged in school & academics regardless of the statistics stacked up against them. The children are exemplar global citizens who show resilence despite their circumstances. Your generosity is the glue that will mend their separation.
