<div>This is a call to contribute to exciting and profound evolutions for the 2026 portraits projects. Building on 5 years of experience and over 70 portraits, I've learnt so much, including profound explorations into the nature of consciousness and our sensemaking capacities.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Capturing those soul stories that <strong>need to be heard</strong> thanks to the magic of unconditional witnessing,<strong> yet so seldom told</strong>. There is a consistent magic through the holding of a totally spontaneous space of connecting to your inner voice, your interior truth.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This particular witnessing approach to portrait filming is both an artistic and spiritual practice....and therefore the commercialisation and pre-selling of the experience is necessarily ambiguous.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hence, rather than charging per client (that collapses the filming experience into a more controlled experience, with expectations), I far prefer to continue the funding based on a creative arts donations approach.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The fundraising campaign here is to support the continuous evolution of the offer, including in 2026 my incorporating somatic dimensions to the filming encounter, including authentic movement, sensuality and tantric principles.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>2026 has exciting project goals on the horizon:
</div>
<ul>
<li><strong>Social Applications</strong>: Offering this process of soul narratives, to be gathered in community dialogue projects. I have been reaching out to peace and reconciliation contacts. I am now a qualified palliative care visitor, and will be offering narrative recordings to patients.
</li>
<li><strong>Technology Innovations:</strong> Based on my years in "narrative sensemaking" projects, I have been collaborating with an AI partner to build a conversational portal to all my 120+ portrait video edits. You can now have an interactive conversation with all the people I've filmed, and receive a unique composite edit of clips that respond to any question you ask of the body of narrative! Please contact me for a demo - we have a range of pilots for bodies of video archives, ranging from a well-known poet, to a well established Zen center in the USA.
</li>
<li><strong>Scaling Towards a Science of Story</strong>: The above innovations are built on deep philosophical research and principles in the social sciences...The InteriorTruth project seeks to integrate both the Arts and Sciences of our meaning making.
</li>
<li><strong>Travelling for Portraits at Events:</strong> It has been an important revelation for me to establish a process of attending conferences such as in the fields of science and consciousness, and run parallel filming sessions...when people are gathering together, it's a unique opportunity to take people out of their everyday context, and create a contemplative moment. 2025 has at least three key event opportunities in the pipeline (incl. Integral Theory Conference, Ubiquity University Science and Consciousness)

<div><strong><em>Testimonials:</em></strong>

</div>
<div>"John Oliver's work is truly exceptional. First he created a unique ‘contemplative’ space which allowed me to speak from a great depth inside. But nothing prepared me for the quality of how he subsequently worked with the content and visual edit. This is simply remarkable work, of the very highest order.”

<div>"This is about exploration and saying something you didn't quite know you knew. There's something really true at some kind of essence level there about this interaction between us and the seeking to witness. It's like, oh, I see you.
</div>
<div>And the gift of seeing somebody, which is both, all the way about you and also all the way about them, and also all the way about the two of you together, it's like 300%.
</div>
<div>It's whole, because the quest is whole."

<div>"Catapulting the tradition of grand portraiture into the 21st century, John Oliver’s method allowed my stories to flow unhindered, and his inspired editing resulted in a masterpiece of mystic storytelling.
</div>
<div>I’ve received great feedback such as how viewers are very impressed about the calmness in your voice and stating the truth, the very truth…and a request for a sequel!"

<div>"What a gift to be able to do this. I find this experience incredibly, precious. It's the clearest experience I have of being enough. Being enough in not a “full-of-myself” kind of way, but being enough in the midst of everything that changes inside me, outside me. It's like being a cork floating on a river. Nothing can happen to the cork, cannot be hurt. It cannot be submerged. It cannot be shattered. It was awesome for me. It was really fabulous.
</div>
<div>It allowed me to pay tribute to my Dad at a very significant time without having planned, and talk about a couple of things that really matter to me, so thank you.
</div>
<div>It was phenomenal."
