JW's 2018 Charity Challenge

In March 2016, My Uncle Jon was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis which is progressive and fatal lung disease. Throughout 2018, I will be taking on a series of challenges:

to raise awareness for ‘Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis’ and to raise funds for the family to help with the inevitable and ease the pain of what will be an extremely sad time for our family.

Many of my friends will know my Uncle Jon, he is a legend, a huge part of our family and has always brought smiles to everyone he meets and has always been very close to my brother and I and a big part of our growing up.

This illness is reasonably unknown to many albeit recently highlighted with the death of Keith Chegwin but hopefully through doing these challenges I can raise awareness of this fatal disease and raise some money at the same time.

May have my friends have already stepped forward and asked to join me on the various challenges and I will be glad to have along anyone that wishes to join me on this journey, please just get in touch and we can arrange it!

This is going to be quite the personal challenge for me, every leg of the challenge we will hurt or scare me to death so please bare this in mind when making any donations!
