On behalf of the entire Shimoonov family, my name is Eli Fuzailov. Ezra Shimoonov is my uncle, one of my favorites to say the least. You know how you have that one uncle in the family who always lightens the mood no matter what the situation? That uncle that you can be best friends with as opposed to JUST a family member? The uncle you can confide in when you can't really speak to your parents about certain things? He is THAT uncle! The funds I intend to raise are for his health, his family and their wellbeing.
Almost over a year ago, he was admitted to the hospital only to later find out that he has a brain tumor. Who would've thought some random headaches and sleepless nights would end up this way. Doctors have tried to remove it, succeeded, but at a very minimal percentage. Needless to say the tumor started growing again. Once again with the removal process, until they can do no more.
He was the sole provider of a family of 3 beautiful children and a loving wife. When this tragedy struck them, he could no longer be in work mode. The conditions rendered him weak and incapable. Therefore putting an end to his income. Through generous donations they were able to get by, but it is never enough. Bills pile up, including children’s tuition, and they have to wake up every morning wondering from where and how the next dollar will be coming in.
Sadly I have to mention that the kids had spoken to me saying that they want to quit school and go work so that the parents won't have to worry for a source of income. IF THOSE WERE YOUR KIDS, WHAT WOULD YOU DO? They are all under the age of 18. That is all I will say about that matter.
It is very clear what the funds are for, and how it will be put to use.
I've had the unfortunate luck to lose 4 amazing people, who were family, in a matter of 2 years, to this God forsaken disease! I don't plan on bumping up the count to 5 or 6...or any number!
Ezra...my uncle, was once a man who brought smiles to everyone around him, whether he knew you or not. I hate to see that because of these hard times, he is unable to do that.
I not only ask, I beg and plead that you open your hearts and share some hope for this family. No one should EVER have to go through any of this with any of their loved ones. Let this family see that there is still good out there.
A simple thank you would never suffice. But from the bottom of my heart, I appreciate every penny and ray of hope you are able to provide for my uncle and his family.
Lets try to wipe the tears away, and help bring back a smile to this family!
I hope that God blesses and watches over you and your families and give you all a lifetime of success!
