Uncle Mic's Cancer Fund

Our best friend Michael Hale (aka Uncle Mic) has been trying to cover medical costs after being diagnosed with cancer for the second time in two years. He originally had a cancerous tumor in his neck. He received a “radical neck dissection” followed by chemotherapy and radiation in 2016. Recovery was hard and took over six months. He was in good health and cancer free for eight months. 

In November 2017, a scan showed the cancer had spread to his right lung and spine in the form of tumors. He is currently undergoing Immunotherapy with a new drug called Keytruda. The life expectancy for his lung cancer is less than a year. We are beyond devastated.  Uncle Mic has been trying to continue to work while fighting this cancer, but he is now hospitalized and having difficulties walking.  We are trying to help him financially as much as we can.  

Uncle Mic is trying to stay positive. His sister and close friends are great support. He does not want to ever be a burden.  So, we started this GoFundMe page to try to get as many people to help as possible.
