It saddens me to announce the sudden death of Gerard Ledet, better known as Uncle “G”. He passed away at his home on Monday morning leaving behind a world of people who loved him very much.
He traveled all over the world, country to country and never failed to grow the circle of those he loved and those that loved him. Uncle “G” was unselfish, exuded positivity, and was unknowingly a motivator for those that listened. His doors were always open, especially his kitchen. He made everyone feel at home. He took care of anyone who asked for help and never expected anything in return.
Everyone who knew Uncle “G” understood that he loved to cook and wanted to carry on his Mother’s tradition of sharing the love created by cooking from the heart.
He will be greatly missed. Today we are asking for your help and blessings to assist his wife Amelia (“Nanny”) with medical and burial expenses. We hope that you can find it in your hearts to help his wife in this time of need. Whatever your budget will allow will be greatly appreciated.
