<div>Hace un tiempo compré una impresora para hacer cosas en casa: pequeños proyectos, juguetes para mis hijos y soluciones prácticas. Siempre he sido muy “maker”. Me gusta construir, crear con mis manos, algo que aprendí de mi papá y que viene desde mis abuelos.

<div>Hace unos meses descubrí el proyecto “Toddler Mobility Trainer” de MakeGood, un diseño abierto de una silla de movilidad infantil que puede imprimirse en 3D. Me pareció increíble que algo así pudiera hacerse de forma local y accesible para más familias.

<div>En ese momento conectó con una necesidad muy cercana a nuestro círculo. Supimos que esto podía hacer una diferencia real, así que como familia decidimos actuar.

<div>Para niños muy pequeños, especialmente bebés y toddlers, las sillas de ruedas tradicionales no son una solución real. Suelen ser demasiado grandes, pesadas y no están diseñadas para el desarrollo temprano de movilidad. Muchos niños simplemente no pueden usarlas de forma independiente.

<div>This one started with a 3D printer.

<div>A while ago, I bought a 3D printer to build things at home—small projects, toys for my kids, and practical solutions. I’ve always been a “maker.” I enjoy creating with my hands, something I learned from my father, and from my grandparents before him.

<div>A few months ago, I discovered the “Toddler Mobility Trainer” project by MakeGood—an open-source design for a 3D-printed pediatric mobility chair. I was amazed that something like this could be created locally and made accessible to more families.

<div>These 3D-printed mobility chairs are different.

<div>But more importantly, they are not just about movement—they are about development.
