Questa raccolta fondi è una iniziativa della nostra Associazione, costituita nel 2015 ma di fatto aggregatasi già nel 2006. Gestita esclusivamente da volontari, si chiama DivertendoCiDivertiamo , e il nome ne racconta l'idea originale, cerca di divertire gli altri divertendosi.
Sono passati diversi anni e pur conservando l'anima iniziale siamo cresciuti, diventando una realtà culturale del nostro territorio, Monterotondo a 20 Km da Roma, e ci dedichiamo in particolare al teatro e alla musica, con una intensa produzione di spettacoli in questi anni. Siamo diventati anche un riferimento per diversi gruppi e associazioni culturali che operano sul territorio Monterotondese che utilizzano i nostri spazi.
Da anni la nostra sede storica è un piccolo teatro da 99 posti, ex cinema parrocchiale, abbandonato per un lungo tempo e che in questi anni, con i fondi raccolti, abbiamo avuto la capacità di far risorgere a nuova vita.
Siamo a buon punto ma il nostro obiettivo finale è quello di portare il Teatro Sala Molloy, che gestiamo in comodato d'uso, ad essere un locale aperto al pubblico esercizio e quindi in regola con le norme vigenti.
In questi anni abbiamo già fatto diversi lavori di ristrutturazione e abbiamo fornito il teatro anche di strumentazione tecnica che continuiamo a migliorare.
Però dobbiamo ancora affrontare spese importanti tra cui la più impegnativa è quella del cambio delle poltrone in quanto quelle esistenti non rispondono alle normative antincendio.
L'emergenza sanitaria ci sta costringendo a restare chiusi sicuramente per l'intera stagione 2020/21 e speriamo di riaprire le porte anche ai nostri corsi di formazione nel prossimo ottobre. Per non perdere questo tempo prezioso vorremmo utilizzarlo per raccogliere i fondi per sostituire le poltrone.
Abbiamo già da parte una cifra che ci permette di acquistare le prime 20 poltrone (circa 4.000 €), ce ne mancano 75. Il nostro SOGNO è di provare ad acquistarle a fine giugno per poi montarle a settembre 2021.
Per noi sarebbe molto importante. Puoi aiutarci ad acquistare una poltrona? O un “pezzo” di poltrona? Ti ringraziamo per quello che potrai fare.
Appena sarà possibile dimostrarti la nostra gratitudine invitandoti ad uno spettacolo inaugurale e, se sei lontano, ti raggiungeremo tramite una diretta streaming per condividere insieme la nostra felicità!

AN ARMCHAIR FOR YOU!
This fundraiser is an initiative of our Association, established in 2015 but already aggregated in 2006.
Completely handle by volunteers, it is called “DivertendoCiDivertiamo”. The name tells the original idea, trying to amuse others while having fun.
Several years have passed and, while preserving the initial soul, we have become a cultural reality of our territory, Monterotondo (20 km from Rome) and we dedicate ourselves in particular to
theater and music, with an intense production of shows in the past years.
We have also become a landmark for different cultural groups and associations that operate in Monterotondo, using our spaces.
For years our historic headquarter has been a small 99-seat theater, former parish cinema, abandoned for a long time and that in recent years, with the funds raised, we have had the ability to resurrect new life.
We are well on the way but our final goal is to bring the Teatro Sala Molloy, which we manage on loan, to be a room open to the public exercise and therefore in compliance with current regulations.
In recent years we have already done several renovations and we have also provided the theater with technical instrumentation that we continue to improve.
However, we still face major expenses, but the most challenging is the change of seats, because the existing ones do not comply with fire regulations.
The health emergency is forcing us to remain closed for the entire 2020/21 season and we hope to reopen the doors to our training courses next October. In order not to waste this precious time we would like to use it to raise funds to replace the armchairs.
We already have a figure that allows us to buy the first 20 armchairs, we are missing 75.
Our DREAM is to try to buy them by the end of June and then mount them in September 2021.
That would be very important to us!
