<div>Hello, my name is Andrea Baptista. Today I am writing to you to share the story of my friend and countryman, Zahorí Surimara Mendoza Mejía. Zahorí is a brave woman in the full extent of the word: worker, with a unique personality and a 43-year-old single mother. Unfortunately, his life took a radical turn in mid-2025.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Like many Venezuelans, Zahorí has faced the reality of migration with determination to get his children ahead. He lived and worked in Chile for two years before returning home. Later, she traveled to the United States, where I had the happiness of meeting her, working with her and building a beautiful friendship. After six months, he decided to return to Venezuela to reunite with his family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In July 2025, life put him to the most difficult test: he detected a small mass in his bosom. After a series of medical studies and 21 days of anxious waiting, he received the diagnosis: Grade II, triple negative and invasive breast cancer.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In Venezuela, access to comprehensive health treatment is a titanic challenge due to the crisis and limited resources. For Zahorí, every day is crucial. His medical protocol consists of 12 sessions of chemotherapy (of which he has already managed to complete three), followed by surgery and, finally, radiotherapy sessions.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Zahorí is a fighter, but she can't win this battle alone. You need our economic solidarity to cover the high costs of your treatment, which includes:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Special food: A high-quality diet essential to strengthen your immune system.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Transfers: Constant mobilization to attend their chemotherapy sessions.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Control studies: Resonances (abdomen, neck and pelvis) and laboratory tests after each cycle.
</div>
<div>Surgical intervention.
</div>
<div>Radiotherapies.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thanks to God and the support of his loved ones, he has already advanced the first steps, but the road to go is still long and expensive. Any contribution, no matter how small it may seem, or the simple fact of sharing this message, brings us one more step closer to the recovery of our warrior.

<div>Let's help Zahorí beat cancer!

</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div>Intervención quirúrgica.
</div>
<div>Radioterapias.
</div>
