<div>Sin embargo, hace seis meses lo diagnosticaron con Leucemia Mieloide Aguda (LMA), un cancer en la sangre muy agresivo que va destruyendo su médula ósea y, poniendo en peligro su vida. Debido a este diagnóstico, Jose Carlos se encuentra en cama y ha tenido que dejar de trabajar.

<div>Los doctores dicen que su única posibilidad de sobrevivir, es recibiendo un transplante de médula ósea, el cual Jose Carlos no puede pagar. La operación, junto con el tratamiento previo, la hospitalización y seguimiento médico, tiene un costo aproximado de $546,000 pesos mexicanos. Una cantidad que para él, es inalcanzable.
