Lo he pensado mucho y lo sigo dudando, pero mis papás necesitan la ayuda. Y por ellos, TODO en la vida.
Me duele mi Puerto Ricon, mi pueblo, mi gente, la pérdida del hogar de mis papás y la crisis humanitaria que estamos sufriendo. Ha sido realmente horrible y no puedo parar de pensar en todos los que están sufriendo amargamente en todos los pueblos de nuestro país.
La humilde casita de mis papás resistió el embate de los vientos del huracán María, mas no la furia del río que entró arrasando con todas las posesiones de mis viejos dejando todo lleno de fango y con más de 4 pies de agua dentro de la casa, TODO.
Mi papá, mi mamá, mi hermana y yo estamos enormemente agradecidos de haber salido con vida del terror del 20 de septiembre, pero mis papás ahora no tienen mattress donde dormir, zapatos que ponerse y apenas tienen dos o tres trapitos que logramos salvar en el caos.
Humildemente agradezco de corazón cualquier aportación que pueda ayudar a mis papás a comenzar de nuevo. Sé que raya en la desfachatez partiendo de la tragedia que nos arropa, pero quiero intentar todas las opciones para ayudarlos a reconstruir nuestro hogar.
De corazón, deseo que todo Puerto Rico se recupere de esta pesadilla y aunque el echapalantismo me suele avinagrar las gónadas, quiero optar por pensar que pasito a pasito, suave, suavecito, saldremos de esta. Juntos.
Otra vez, GRACIAS a todos por el apoyo y por la preocupación. He tenido gente que vale ORO a mi alrededor durante estos días tan tristes. Y a todos los que le den la mano a mis viejos, GRACIAS, GRACIAS, GRACIAS.

I thought about sharing this long and hard and I keep doubting if I should do this, but my parents need the help. And for them, I’ll do EVERYTHING in life.
My Puerto Rico is aching, my town, my people, the loss of my parent’s home and the humanitarian crisis we are suffering. This experience has been horrendous and I can’t stop thinking about all those suffering bitterly in every municipality of my country.
My parent’s humble home resisted the powerful hurricane winds, but not the fury of the Guamani river, that swept away all their prized possessions leaving EVERYTHING filled with mud and more than 4 feet of water inside the house.
My father, my mother, my sister and I are thankful we were able to escape that terror that took place on September 20th alive. But now, my parents don’t have a mattress to sleep in, shoes to wear and they barely have anything to wear. All they have is what we were able to save amidst the chaos.
I humbly ask you for any donation you can make to help my parents start all over again. This is a hard ask considering the tragedy we are all living, but I want to attempt every available option to help them rebuild our home.
My wish is that all of Puerto Rico recuperates from the nightmare and although at the time it seems farfetched, I want to think that we will come out of this one DES-PA-CITO. Together!
Again, THANK YOU for all your support and concerns. I’ve had people that are worth their weight in gold during these tragic times. And to all of you chipping in to help my parents, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
