<div>A few weeks ago, we started this fundraiser to support Karla — a 30-year-old mother of two with a big heart, an infectious smile, and incredible strength.

<div>Today, we’re happy to share that Karla has been discharged from the hospital and is finally back home with her family. This is a big step forward, but her recovery journey is just beginning.

<div>Karla recently began a new treatment and has already shown signs of improvement:

<div>• Reduced inflammation in her legs and feet
</div>
<div>• More stable glucose levels
</div>
<div>• Improved energy and kidney function
</div>

<div>She’s now following a strict diet and medical regimen. However, to truly recover, Karla urgently needs to continue with stem cell therapy — her best chance to regenerate kidney function and manage her diabetes.

<div>The treatment is only available in Tijuana, Mexico, and it comes with significant costs:

<div>• Ongoing therapy (every 6 weeks): $8,000 MXN (~$470 USD)

<div>• Travel, lodging, and meals for each visit
</div>
<div>• Daily living expenses for her and her children, as Karla cannot work right now due to her health

<div>Con mucha gratitud y alegría, hoy queremos compartir que Karla ya ha sido dada de alta y se encuentra en casa con su familia. Ha sido un gran avance, pero su recuperación apenas comienza.

<div>Karla comenzó un nuevo tratamiento el jueves pasado y ya ha mostrado mejoría: sus pies y piernas han comenzado a desinflamarse, se siente con más energía, ha retomado la capacidad de orinar con mayor regularidad y sus niveles de glucosa se han estabilizado notablemente. También ha estado siguiendo una dieta basada en carnes y vegetales, lo que ha contribuido a estos avances.

<div>Sin embargo, para asegurar una recuperación real y duradera, Karla necesita continuar con un tratamiento de células madre que puede ayudar a regenerar sus riñones y controlar su diabetes. Este tratamiento se realiza únicamente en Tijuana y representa un gran reto económico:

<div>•	Tratamiento continuo (cada mes y medio): $8,000 MXN
